Content policy

Pictora is for creative, personal images. This policy says what you can't make or upload, how we check, and what happens when something breaks the rules. It is part of our terms of service.

Not allowed

You may not use Pictora to create, edit or upload:

Real people

You may upload a photo of a real person, including yourself, and edit it for harmless personal use: a portrait in a new art style, a fun background, a greeting card. Only upload photos you have the right to use, and of people who would be comfortable with the result.

Edits that sexualise, humiliate or impersonate a real person are blocked, as are images meant to deceive others into thinking a real event happened. Don't use Pictora to create images of public figures that could mislead people, for example in news, politics or advertising.

How we check

Every prompt, and every image you upload, is checked by an automated moderation system before any image is made. The prompt enhancer's rewrite is checked again, and the image models apply their own safety filters. If a request is blocked, no points are used and you see a short explanation. Blocked requests are logged with the prompt and the reason, and kept for 90 days so that our team can review them.

Automated checks make mistakes in both directions. If you think a block was wrong, tell us at contact@rpillai.dev.

Consequences

We may also remove content and lower an account's daily allowance when we see signs of abuse, as the terms of service describe.

How to report

If Pictora produces an image that breaks this policy, use Report in the image's detail view. Reports go to our review queue with the image's prompt and settings.

To report anything else, such as an image of you that you believe someone made with Pictora, email contact@rpillai.dev with as much detail as you can.
